Sometimes, an artist needs a bit of peace and quiet to work. Quite often does the layperson require some time to themselves, unwind and think back on the day's happenings - consider how they'll spend the rest of it - maybe even just rest a second.Feel free to kick back and sequester yourself away in the Chill Suite, arranged to be as cozy as possible for that quick power nap or some brisk reading. Maybe you've been at the Auctions all day and you need a break before grabbing a nice meal at the Sushi Bar next door with your significant other. Whatever the need may be, you're more than welcome to just chill with us.

A great moogle once said, "Rule #1, We don't talk about the playground."Well, I've no clue which playground he could even be referring to but if it's one thing I do know, it's that a new Playground has just opened in the neighborhood - conveniently located on the same subdivision as the Agora Block! Come snack with the moogles, eat a tasty treat or two - Don't pay mind to the noises you hear. Watch the moogles do a little show, witness their weird attempts at magic for the sake of earning a kupo nut or two! No, that wasn't a blood curdling scream. Rules and Regulations

Welcome to Azem Expo! A little fan made event for the community.
Tired of traveling to real life conventions but want to meet more players in the comfort of your home? This is what it's all about!

General Rules

  • No Racist comments, No Transphobic comments, Sexist comments, etc. Use your common sense.

  • Put away your minions.
    They count towards entity limit, grounds for removal from the property.

  • Also please do not AFK in the house! People will want to enter, please AFK outside the house to save us time.

  • Do not talk about third party/modding in say chat.
    We are not responsible for anything to do with third party tools nor do we endorse it. Our moderators cannot do anything about what you see using third party tools at the event and what you do in your owntime with "Syncshells."
    We do not have one and if someone invites you, kindly turn it down and inform a mod to ban them from the event.

  • Do not accept any random links.

  • Do not harass the Cafe Staff. You will get banned off the property.
    There is someone behind the screen, respect their boundaries and time if they ask you to chill out. You only have one warning.

  • Keep it SFW, we don't want people feeling weird and uncomfortable especially in say chat.

  • Please respect boundaries and be mindful about being overly comfortable with strangers right out the gate. This is a fun chance to meet new people, so take your time! An event mod may reach out if they receive notices of uncomfortable behavior.

  • Absolutely NO ERP allowed. Do it in private and on your own time.
    We DID say keep it SFW

  • Be patient and don’t cut in line for Agora Block or the NPC Cafe.
    You're not the only one that wants in. We gotta keep space open for those that HAVE to be there.

  • Turn off emotes/don't emote spam.
    Click the little cog on your chat settings and you go into the settings for each tab and you can remove it.

  • Don’t spam any promotions for other venues in chat, this isn’t the aetheryte plaza.

  • Yell/Shout chat is restricted for mods/admins + artists during event hours.

Our Event Moderators hold the right to Interpret the rules as is needed. Use common sense, please. People will be reported to GMs if persistent nuisances.

Venue Specifics

Agora Block

Agora Block is our digital artist alley!
Let's give you a quick run down:

  • Agora Block will not be "Paid in Gil" but rather "Tipped in gil/donated gil."
    Just like real life, people will tip/donate upfront.

  • There will be no exchange of real currency/money for this event. Period.

  • No trading for in-game Skins/Emotes. That is RMT.

  • Dont guilt artists about their pricing nor should you compare artists.
    "This person's work is better." You can escort yourself out.

  • *Do not promote AI at this convention.

Artists: If someone asks to tip you personally in game via kofi, paypal, etc., Flag them. Do not respond, change your status to busy and alert our event moderators ASAP.
